Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Well now — it looks like Christmas is happening this year too. For me, the past year has continued to involve a lot of remote work. But also more opportunities to meet family and friends, and to work at the office at least part of the time — a bit more like things used to be. At the same time, it’s clear that we’ll have to live with certain restrictions for a while longer. Let’s do what we can to look after one another and stay healthy.
My Christmas and New Year break has begun, and it feels very welcome after an intense work year. I plan to spend the days taking winter walks, watching good films and series, working on my music, and staying in touch with loved ones.
This year’s Christmas song comes from Norway, by someone who shares my name: Freddy Kalas. His song “Hey Ho” has become a modern Christmas classic that always brings joy.
I wish my family, relatives, colleagues, and friends all the best. Take care, and we’ll see and hear from each other during 2022.
Optimistic greetings from Vallda,
Freddy
